In Croatia this week, these wonderful signs added a touch of humour /slash/ sweetness to the experience.

 

Maybe I have a career there as a translator...

I went to visit a friend in Colliers Wood
on the weekend, and outside the station
saw their 'publicity' shots on a huge
notice board...

Walking from Brighton train station to the sea

front, I was intrigued by the promise of

"Things on toast"

What the deuce could they be?

I was also pleased by the need felt to put the

word "Breakfasts" in inverted commas. As if

it was in an episode of Friends where one of the

male characters is being "hilarious".

Holey Moley!

So I was walking home the other day and stopped to
answer my phone, and looked down at the road.

This is what I saw...

Slightly worrying then was that normal traffic was

driving over this non stop during my phone call..!

We don't need no education

I don't think I'll be going here to learn somehow...

However, it appears that my local shop might
well have...
